Maison Greta was not only a passion project but also a successful business venture, where I could put my creative and entrepreneurial skills to the test. As the founder and head designer/creative strategist, I emphasized high-quality design and attention to detail, which quickly garnered a dedicated following through word-of-mouth and organic social media growth. Remarkably, we achieved over 750 sales within two years, all without any advertising spend, while juggling my responsibilities at university and my job.

Success and Achievements:

Our success extended beyond sales figures. Maison Greta caught the attention of Yosqi clothing, a popular clothing shop in London, and we were stocked in their store, a significant milestone for our brand. Furthermore, a Chinese clothing manufacturer recognized the potential in our brand and offered an investment of around £100,000, affirming the direction and potential of Maison Greta.

Entrepreneurial Growth:

Despite our achievements in the fashion industry, I came to the realization that my true passion lay in creative strategy, with fashion serving as a medium to express that passion. Nonetheless, the experience of building Maison Greta from the ground up, securing partnerships with production teams, and successfully negotiating deals proved invaluable in my current work as a creative strategist.

Conclusion:

Maison Greta was a remarkable journey where my creativity and entrepreneurial spirit converged, propelling the brand to success through word-of-mouth and organic growth. While my passion lies in creative strategy, the lessons learned from Maison Greta's development and accomplishments continue to shape my career as a creative strategist, emphasizing user-centered designs and strategic partnerships. This project will forever hold a special place in my heart, reminding me of the power of creativity and determination in achieving entrepreneurial success.
